During this class, you will learn
- Techniques for holding and using a calligraphy pen, including how to apply pressure to create thin and thick strokes.
- The fundamental strokes and letterforms of modern calligraphy, including lowercase and uppercase letters.
- We'll show you how to write essential words such as "Welcome," "Thank You," "Love," "Congratulations," and more.
- Tips and tricks for developing your own unique calligraphy style and creating stunning lettering pieces.
Important Notes:
All materials, including a Calligraphy kit (pen holder, nib, wooden pen rest, small ink bottle, guide linesheets and bag), snacks and light refreshments will be provided. You will also have the opportunity to take home your own calligraphy kit, so you can continue practicing and creating beautiful lettering after the workshop.
